Job summary

SCG Fields, LLC is seeking a high-level Superintendent to manage all on-site operations for major sports field projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the field, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of extensive experience in a similar role in construction.
• Experience in drainage installation, grading, reading plans, and understanding grades.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• Strong leadership qualities and reliability in team settings.
• Ability to work 50-60 hours per week outdoors and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: Direct all field personnel and subcontractors and coordinate schedules.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain the master project schedule and adjust for delays.
• Safety Leadership: Enforce a zero-tolerance safety culture and ensure OSHA-compliant inspections.
• Budget & Resource Control: Monitor project costs and manage heavy equipment and labor.
• Communication: Report project progress, three-week look-ahead, and concerns to the PM.
• Documentation: Maintain daily logs, progress photos, and incident reports.
