Job summary

You will be the senior on-site company representative, overseeing contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and financials to complete projects with quality, safety, and profitability.

Applicants should have extensive leadership experience, design-build exposure, and a strong track record managing large commercial construction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Lead projects of $50M or greater in commercial construction.
• Design Build or Progressive Design Build experience.
• Fifteen+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Seven years of direct supervisory experience.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction applications.
• Theme Park experience preferred.

For Balfour Beatty Construction in the Orange County area, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our special projects team. The Senior Project Manager is the senior on-site company representative responsible for managing all administrative and technical requirements. Supervises Project Managers’ activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financials set-up/updates, schedule to ensure projects are completed in a quality, profitable, safe, and timely manner. Maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations. Builds business with current customers by delivering on our promises and creates new business with potential customers in a proactive manner, promoting all of our construction services.

Minimum Requirements

• Theme Park experience, highly preferred.

• Lead projects of $50M or greater; Commercial Construction
• Design Build, Progressive Design Build Experience
• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Fifteen years or more of experience in commercial construction project management
• Seven years of direct supervisory experience
• Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.)
• Experience with cost projection, financialanalysis, budget reviews, labor reports
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s)

The base compensation range for the role of Senior Project Managerfor Orange County, CA posted above is $160,000 to $200,000 annually.
