Job summary

Muller Inc is seeking a Senior Project Manager for site development in Reston, VA. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Director and oversees project startup, coordination with subs and clients, and daily field management.

Responsibilities include controlling costs, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion. Strong civil-reading skills and MS Office proficiency are required; construction software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of APM/PM experience in turnkey site development.
• Experience reading civil plans and knowledge of site work types.
• Strong admin skills with review of covers sheets, costing sheets, AIA, and tracking change orders.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage crews daily; coordinate with the site superintendent; maintain client communications to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Initiate projects (submittals, Miss Utility, safety paperwork) and start-up procedures.
• Oversee all aspects of the project including change orders, problem solving with the superintendent and client.

Title: Senior Project Manager, Site Development

Type: Full time, exempt

Location: Reston, Virginia

Reports To: Director

Responsibilities

• Daily tasks include scheduling and managing crews, working with the site superintendent, and constantly communicating with the client to ensure jobs are completed correctly and in the most efficient way possible.
• The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for getting projects started (submittals, Miss Utility, Safety Paperwork)
• Manage all aspects of the project (creating/tacking Change Order's, problem solving with the superintendent and client)
• Work closely with any subcontractors, monthly billing, and project closeout.
• Ordering of the required materials for their specific projects.
• Work closely with the estimator to make sure that the correct items are ordered and to ensure nothing extra is added or missing.
• Tracking production for their assigned projects.
• Work with foreman and superintendent daily to make sure production goals are met.
• Track the production on the production template in excel.
• Perform take offs and putting together a proposal for Change Orders.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years experience as an APM and/or PM within turnkey site development
• Data Center experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read civil plans and knowledge of different types of site work
• Strong admin skills with reviewing cover sheets, costing sheets, AIA, and tracking change orders
• Experience communicating with clients and/or General Contractor on projects
• Microsoft Office. Adobe, Blue Beam and experience with a project management software is a plus
