Job summary

CPH is expanding its Community Development team in Tampa, FL and seeks a Project Manager / Site Civil Engineer to lead meaningful site development work across Florida. You will own projects from concept through permitting, focusing on site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and construction plans while mentoring staff and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of site/civil engineering experience.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain quickly.
• Proven experience managing site development projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior civil engineer on site/civil project types.
• Organize workload and work independently on design tasks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Serve as primary client liaison and identify additional services.
• Prepare and review plans, reports, calculations, and specs.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Prepare permits (ERPs, NPDES, SWPPP, Grading, Utilities).
• Collaborate with planning, environmental, transportation, and surveying.
• Identify risks and provide cost-effective mitigation.
• Ensure designs meet regulations and CPH standards.
