Senior Project Manager / Roadway Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Roadway Engineer to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in roadway and transportation projects.

Minimum Experience: 15 years

Education: BSCE or equivalent

Registration: Professional Engineer (PE)

Required Skills: AutoCAD or Microstation, Civil Engineering, Microsoft Office, Project Management, Roadway Design, Transportation Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute work independently, using sound judgment and standard engineering techniques.
• Lead and support roadway and transportation design projects, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Serve as project manager or technical expert on projects of moderate complexity.
• Assist in marketing efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks.
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE license in Texas or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Extensive experience in municipal transportation and stormwater projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Proven success in client management, project leadership, and business development.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
