Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. in the Baltimore/Washington DC metro area seeks a Project Manager for roadway and bridge projects. The role plans, directs, and coordinates heavy highway/bridge construction efforts, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.

You will lead Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen, manage CPM-based schedules, collaborate with agencies and subcontractors, and prepare reports for leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree; 10+ years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
• Manages Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen who supervise construction employees.
• Maintains overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the project team.
• Develops work plans and staffing for each phase; allocates personnel accordingly.
• Coordinates project activities with governmental agencies and subcontractors.
• Executes CPM-based project schedules and tracks progress against budget.
