Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide consulting services for a financial services client account and support the Retail Branch Refurbish Team.

The role covers full project management from initiation to completion, with direct client interface on scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 8–10 years of relevant experience.
  • EV charging experience required.
  • Financial services client experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PMWeb or web-based PM software preferred.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role.
  • On-site presence and client needs may change depending on our client's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate charter development and coordinated timeline to keep work on schedule.
  • Lead regular project status meetings for active and pending projects.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge across the function.

Job description

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services to our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This role will support our Retail Branch Refurbish Team. This job is part of the Project Management function and responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What you'll do
  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Facilitate the development of a charter and coordinated timeline and ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Respect, Excellence) values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Prior EV charging experience required.
  • Financial services client experience is desirable.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience in PMWeb or other web base project management software preferred.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
  • On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs.
