Job summary

SEIU UHW-West & Joint Employer Education Fund is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of organizational initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Organizational Learning and mentors other PMs, guiding project planning, stakeholder communications, and risk management in a fast-paced environment.

The position supports a hybrid in-person/remote work setup across California, Nevada, Portland, and Seattle, and requires up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

7+ years in project management with cross-functional programs.
PMP preferred; agile credentials valued.
Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Must have valid driver’s license and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Advise Leadership Team by prioritizing strategic projects and aligning with goals.
Provide PM leadership for high-priority initiatives and cross-functional programs.
Oversee project portfolio, interdependencies, risks, and resources across departments.
Report portfolio status with data-driven recommendations to leadership.
Mentor associate and mid-level PMs on planning, communications, risk, and tools.
Develop charters, plans, logs, BRDs, dashboards, and executive-ready documents.
