Job summary

CareOregon is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale initiatives with a focus on LEAN and IT-enabled projects. The role drives planning, stakeholder alignment, and governance in a remote/work-from-home setting, with occasional in-person collaboration as needed.

Responsibilities include creating project plans, monitoring progress, reporting to sponsors, and ensuring quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ related experience, including minimum 5 years managing projects; experience should include Independent leadership of a variety of medium and large-scale projects, as well as leadership on occasional enterprise-wide, complex projects.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading information systems projects, including some at a complex level

Responsibilities

• Planning and Development: Develop project plans outlining components, milestones, resources and communication.
• Project Management: Lead stakeholders, monitor status, and present updates to sponsors and owners.
• Quality Assurance: Identify barriers and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Implementation: Apply change management techniques, track costs, and propose process improvements.
• Documentation and Evaluation: Maintain records and evaluate progress for improvements.
• Administration: Participate in planning, metrics, and cross-department initiatives
