Job summary

RailPros in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Project Manager (Engineer VII) to lead complex rail and transit projects with broad scope and high impact. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations, and mentor other engineers and project managers.

You will engage with clients and internal stakeholders, coordinate with safety, contracts, and leadership, and drive outcomes that meet RailPros’ standards of safety, quality, and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • 15+ years of experience in project delivery or management.
  • 5+ years in project management or PM leadership.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, construction support, and closeout.
  • Monitor project performance and take corrective action when delivery or client objectives are at risk.
  • Mentor project managers, engineers, and technical staff.
  • Coordinate with internal operations, safety, finance, contracts, and leadership teams.

They will make decisions and recommendations that are authoritative and have an important impact on extensive organizational activities.
