Job summary

Sabot Consulting is seeking a lead Program Manager to head an enterprise modernization program in the public-sector space. You will serve as the primary PM coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives while providing strategic guidance and executive reporting.

You will oversee governance, risk management, scope, schedules, budgets, and vendor performance across complex government-like environments, including go-live and stabilization activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible project/management experience, including at least 5 years in a local government environment.
• Minimum 5 years leading large-scale enterprise technology implementations or modernization projects with $10MM+ budgets.
• Lead project/management role for at least 3 enterprise system implementations through go-live and stabilization.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams with business, technical, vendor, and executive teams.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, vendor performance, and executive reporting.
• Experience in public-sector, government, or similarly complex organizational environments.

Job description

Sabot Consulting is looking for a lead PM to head up an enterprise modernization program. This position will serve as the primary project management person responsible for coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives while providing strategic guidance, project governance, independent assessment, and executive reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible professional project and/or management experience, with at least 5 years in a local government environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading large-scale, complex enterprise technology implementation or modernization projects ($10MM+ budget).
• Demonstrated experience serving in a lead project or management role for at least 3 enterprise system implementations through implementation, deployment/go-live, and/or post-production stabilization.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams involving business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, consultants, and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, vendor performance, and executive reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with major implementation activities including multiple elements such as requirements management, system integration, data migration/conversion, testing, organizational readiness, training, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects within a public-sector, government, highly regulated, or similarly complex organizational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• experience with CAMA, property assessment, property tax administration, land records, permitting, or similarly complex government enterprise systems.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, Prosci/change management, or other applicable credentials
