W.T. Rich Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects and/or large, complex commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will provide strategic leadership, oversee project financial performance, foster strong client relationships, and mentor project management staff. The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

In the role of Senior Project Manager, you will:

Provide leadership and oversight for multiple projects and/or large, complex construction projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project partners.

Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members.

Partner with Project Executives and field leadership to establish project goals, staffing plans, and resource allocation strategies.

Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cash flow, change management, and risk mitigation.

Lead client meetings and coordinate communication among owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with project superintendents to maintain schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance.

Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize financial, contractual, and schedule impacts.

Support business development efforts through client presentations, interviews, proposals, and relationship-building activities.

Collaborate with estimating teams during preconstruction and project turnover.

Ensure successful project closeout, including warranties, as-builts, training, O&M manuals, and final documentation.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required.

10+ years of project management experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager.

Proven success managing large-scale commercial construction projects and/or multiple concurrent projects.

Experience with public and private construction projects preferred.

Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contract administration, and risk management.

Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 30 Certification.

Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License.

Experience with Massachusetts Chapter 149 and 149A public construction projects.

LEED Green Associate or LEED AP credential.

Knowledge of MEPFP, tele/data, A/V, and security systems.
