Southern Company Gas is seeking a senior Operations and Compliance projects lead to coordinate AGA benchmarking participation, develop analytics, and drive policy improvements. The role requires strong Power BI and Excel skills and close collaboration with SMEs and leadership.

The position supports the Shared Services and requires working with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in gas operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with a process development focus.
• Progressive experience in business and process development.
• Experience managing process projects and operations in energy.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex Operations and Compliance projects.
• Coordinate data collection and reporting for benchmarking programs.
• Develop operational benchmarking measures and reports.
• Provide analytics support for trends and policy development.
• Utilize Power BI and Excel to convert data into executive-ready outputs.
• Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and leadership on goals and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and tariffs in policies.
