Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale civil infrastructure projects. You will monitor scheduling, forecasting, and cost control, ensure safety, and coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to resolve design changes.

With at least 10 years in heavy civil construction and supervisory experience, you will manage subcontractors, drive risk mitigation, and maintain CPM schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management.
• Supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Influences the financial performance of a project by monitoring scheduling, forecasting, and cost control efforts.
• Identifies and mitigates risks to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Conducts regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Collaborates with engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and address any changes.
• Drives the pursuit of claims and change orders, tracks and reports on progress.
• Oversees procurement to ensure it adheres to budget.
• Ensures the development and use of a CPM schedule throughout the life of the project.
• Directs project contract management to review, address and resolve contractual issues and claims.
• Establishes and promotes a safety culture.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.
• Manages subcontractors and suppliers closely.
• Mentors and evaluates employees, providing feedback.

• Directs project contract management to review, address and resolve contractual issues and claims.

• Manages employees by mentoring, coaching, providing feedback and evaluating performance.
