Job summary

OakTree Staffing seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead routine, multi-disciplinary capital projects from planning through closeout. You will manage pumping, equipment upgrades, and piping projects, with a potential multi-year assignment beyond an initial 2 years.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years PM experience in oil & gas or petrochem, and sole accountability for projects. PE and PMP are preferred; on-site leadership and contractor coordination are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, PE preferred.
• 10+ years of project management in oil & gas or petrochemical.
• 5+ years PM with sole accountability for the project.
• Experience managing engineering and construction contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a full-time project team to execute the project plan.
• Oversee preparation and implementation of the Project Execution Plan.
• Lead FEL process, gate reviews, and approvals.
• Direct contracting strategy, contractor evaluation, bids and awards.
• Manage cost, schedule, procurement, and billing/payables.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and risk management are integrated.
• Set up facilities at site and contractor locations; drive KPI metrics.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders; close out on schedule.
