Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead capital and operational projects in highly regulated industrial environments in Amarillo, TX. This role requires end-to-end management and mastery of the decision gate process—from scoping to handover—within an integrated team.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of project management experience, PMP certification, and strong financial acumen to communicate with engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project management experience, preferably in nuclear or highly regulated facilities.
• PMP certification is required.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Experience managing full project lifecycle with budgets.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
• Direct experience in highly regulated environments.
• Superior communication with senior peers and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex projects from initiation to delivery.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and quality compliance for nuclear and regulated environments.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory teams using PM frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Track financial performance and control costs throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide clear project reporting to leadership.
