Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital and O&M initiatives within a commercial nuclear power generation environment. You will oversee EPC contractors, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive projects from planning through turnover and operational readiness.

Reporting to the Nuclear Projects organization, you will partner with site leadership, engineering, maintenance, operations, and external EPC teams to ensure successful execution and compliance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years with a high school diploma.
  • Nuclear power industry experience preferred.
  • Experience managing EPC, construction, maintenance, or capital improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead nuclear capital and O&M projects from initiation through completion.
  • Manage EPC contractor performance and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, forecasts, and cost control.
  • Maintain project risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Review invoices, progress payments, claims, and change orders.
  • Coordinate engineering, maintenance, operations, outage, security, and training teams.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to team members.
  • Ensure construction readiness, safe execution, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Develop project reports, forecasts, and project documentation.
  • Guide corrective actions to resolve project performance issues.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead capital and O&M projects within a commercial nuclear power generation environment.
