Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Americas ESS – Long-term Operations team. This hybrid role requires in-office presence 2 days per week and reports to the Project Director - SNC.

You will lead medium-sized teams on moderate to high complexity projects related to NSSS modifications and operating plant support, including planning, cost baselines, and risk management. Strong engineering or PM background preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a project manager in moderate to high complexity projects.
• Experience in technical industries such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business.

• Coordinate team member allocation per PMR and integrated change management.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, and communications.

About The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of the Americas ESS – Long-term Operations, where we support the design and analysis of operating plant NSSS modifications and support operating plants.

You will report to the Project Director - SNC and be located at our Cranberry, PA location. This is a hybrid work schedule that will require you to be in the Cranberry office 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all project management processes for moderate to high complexity projects or a portfolio of lower complexity projects, leading medium-sized teams (average 10–30 team members).
• Support proposal process upcoming opportunities, as assigned.
• Oversee the development of cost estimates and offers for operating plants support and modifications. Guide customer negotiations.
• Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project management plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines as well as, risk and registers per the Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR).
• Based on project management plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work.
• Manage and integrate all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to departments following an integrated change management process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a project manager are required. This experience should be in leading and directing low to moderate construction or nuclear complex projects to successful completion. Alternatively, 3 years of project management and 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role may be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business.
• Experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $127,800 per year.
