Job summary

Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, seeks a Project Manager to oversee multiple ongoing projects within E50 PREPY. You’ll liaison between project management, planning, and line management, review budgets and schedules, and develop solutions to meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of relevant exempt experience (or a Master’s with 4 years). Navy qualifications and manufacturing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6 years exempt experience; Master’s degree with 4 years exempt experience.
• NNS Apprentice School or NNPS credentials are highly valued.
• Experience in manufacturing, shipbuilding, or military environments is preferred.
• Strong budget, schedule, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Oversees and manages operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Liaises between project management, planning, and line management.
• Reviews project status and budgets; manages schedules and prepares reports.
