Job summary

Metso is seeking a Project Manager to lead a portfolio of Engineered-to-Order projects from Pittsburgh or York with hybrid work options. You will drive cross-functional teams, adhere to safety, quality, and budget targets, and coordinate with Sales, Proposals, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure successful PCM project execution across global markets.

You should bring 10+ years managing complex equipment deliveries, strong English communication, and familiarity with SAP PS/MM and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience managing equipment delivery projects, preferably in mining or mineral processing.
• Strong understanding of mining and mineral processing technologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (PS & MM modules) or equivalent ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Project and openness to learning new tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong influencing skills and a results-driven mindset.
• Collaborative team player with experience working across global and diverse teams.
• Nice to have MBA or PMP/CAPM certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects in full alignment with Metso processes and governance standards.
• Manage a diverse portfolio including Engineered-to-Order (ETO), warranty, and critical shutdown or R&D initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget targets.
• Maintain control over project baselines and manage scope and changes.
• Engage stakeholders and maintain transparent communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Oversee project monitoring and governance, including risk and issue resolution.
• Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs to support planning and delivery.
• Provide timely financial forecasting and TECo management to ensure performance.
• Facilitate lessons learned and share insights across functions.
