What You’ll Do

As the Head of Metso’s Pittsburgh Office, you will:

• Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team spanning Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, and Technical Support.
• Oversee the development and delivery of BMH products—ensuring world-class quality, project profitability, and on-time delivery.
• Manage day-to-day operations while driving long-term strategic initiatives and global collaboration.
• Build a high-performance culture centered on technical excellence, accountability, and innovation.
• Be the face of Metso in Pittsburgh—owning decisions, setting standards, and developing new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with global Product Line Engineering teams to ensure alignment, standardization, and excellence in design.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
• 15+ years of engineering experience.
• 10+ years of engineering leadership in mining.
• Experience in Product Development or R&D (minimum 5 years).
• Strong familiarity with SAP, CAD, EDM, and PLM systems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across global locations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for driving operational improvements and business growth.

• Engineering processes, standards, and tools across Pittsburgh and global teams.
• Proposals, project execution, and technical support.
• Coordination with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Field Services.
