Aquatech supports some of the world’s most technically demanding industries including semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, solar manufacturing, and data centers. These facilities require highly reliable utility infrastructure including Ultra Pure Water (UPW), wastewater treatment (WWT), reclaim systems, thermal utility systems, chemical systems, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems.

Aquatech has an immediate need for a full‑time Microelectronics Project Manager to support global semiconductor, advanced packaging, solar manufacturing, and data center projects. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership, execution alignment, and integrated project delivery support for highly complex industrial utility systems associated with advanced manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and field execution experience across multiple utility disciplines including UPW, WWT, reclaim, thermal systems, process utilities, and ZLD systems.

Unlike a traditional Project Manager role focused primarily on commercial management and project controls, this position serves as a technical execution leader responsible for engineering integration, managing teams across the globe with discrete scope, delivery schedules, cost targets, startup readiness, operational success, multidisciplinary coordination, and customer technical interface responsibilities across global matrix organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical execution strategy and program alignment for microelectronics utility infrastructure projects.
  • Serve as a customer‑facing technical leader, communicating customer needs and requests throughout the global organization and coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams including process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls (I&C), automation, and construction organizations.
  • Drive technical decision‑making, issue resolution, and execution alignment across global execution teams.
  • Support engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, startup, qualification, and operational turnover activities.
  • Participate in risk mitigation planning, constructability reviews, and execution strategy development.
  • Support development of scalable execution methodologies, standards, and best practices for microelectronics projects.
Engineering and Execution Support
  • Review and support development of PFDs, P&IDs, General Arrangements, equipment layouts, utility integration strategies, control philosophies, startup plans, and qualification documentation.
  • Support engineering coordination between process, mechanical, electrical, automation, controls, and construction disciplines.
  • Participate in design reviews, operability reviews, maintainability reviews, and technical risk assessments.
  • Support procurement and vendor technical evaluations for semiconductor and high‑tech manufacturing applications.
  • Evaluate system reliability, redundancy strategies, maintainability, operational flexibility, and lifecycle performance.
Construction, Startup, and Operational Readiness
  • Coordinate field execution activities including installation reviews, field coordination, commissioning support, startup planning, and operational turnover.
  • Coordinate closely with construction teams, startup teams, operations organizations, and customers.
  • Support accelerated startup schedules and schedule recovery efforts as required.
Customer and Organizational Interface
  • Serve as a customer‑facing technical leader for complex microelectronics projects.
  • Interface directly with semiconductor, advanced packaging, solar manufacturing, and data center customers.
  • Work effectively within matrix organizations across multiple disciplines and geographies.
  • Support executive‑level customer communications, technical workshops, and design reviews.
Position Differentiation

This position differs from a traditional Project Manager role by focusing heavily on technical execution leadership, multidisciplinary engineering integration, startup and operational readiness, customer technical interface responsibilities, and development of repeatable semiconductor execution methodologies.

Benefits

Aquatech offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, company‑paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
