Position Summary

In this role, you will work on exciting, multi-million dollar commercial MEP projects as you develop your skills in estimating, financials, and project management within the design-build construction process.

What You’ll Do

1. Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure your team meets or exceeds the project delivery contractually and financially.
2. Measure and report progress, develop tactics to stay on track.
3. Develop client relationships by providing project status updates to clients and leadership.
4. Partner with management to develop and implement project strategies.
5. Manage budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc.
6. Participate in project meetings with internal departments to discuss schedule and issues.
7. Partner with stakeholders to ensure project scope and direction are on schedule.
8. Delegate work and serve as mentor to project team, providing coaching and feedback.
9. Direct and motivate teams through all phases of large-scale projects, celebrating successes and problem-solving challenges.
10. Mentor Project Managers and Engineers to prepare them for advancement, aligning with our core value of “People.”
11. Utilize and pioneer the latest industry trends.
12. Develop and nurture long-term customer relationships.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

1. Experience managing large, complex projects with process piping.
2. Extensive experience managing multiple HVAC construction projects, with a deep understanding of project financials and schedules.
3. Ability to build the job, plan work, and oversee pre-fabrication.
4. Strategic planning skills for 6-9 months outlooks.
5. Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and design engineering systems.
6. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
7. Proven management of multiple large projects.
8. Strong public speaking and proposal presentation skills.
9. Authentic leadership with integrity and a focus on team development.
10. Accountability and initiative in project management.
11. Creative problem-solving skills based on real-world experience.

What You Bring To The Table

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
2. 15+ years of experience managing mid to large size MEP projects.
