Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Advanced Project Manager to lead medium to partially complex projects onsite in Columbia, SC. You will oversee planning, cost, risk management and serve as the primary interface to customers and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5 years PM experience (or 3 tech + 2 PM), and PMP or equivalent certification. MS Project and Primavera P6 experience preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable technical discipline (PM/Engineering/Construction Management).
• 5 years of project management experience on medium/high complexity projects; or 3 years tech role + 2 years PM.
• PMP or equivalent certification or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and develop scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
• Ensure project success and assign team members as needed.
• Oversee scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, and communications.
• Prepare cost forecasts and progress evaluations for reporting.
• Review expenditures against baselines and scope.
• Maintain project databases and documentation for team use.
• Close projects by archiving data in systems and tools.
• Act as the single interface to customer, architect, engineer, constructor, and Westinghouse departments.
