Job summary

Harder Mechanical is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Portland, OR, to lead mechanical and plumbing systems projects across multiple sectors, including Commercial Buildings, Advanced Technology, and Industrial markets.

You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, coordinating with project teams and field labor to deliver on-time, on-budget projects while maintaining client relationships and upholding Harder’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, preferably with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems and LEAN construction principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of assigned projects.
• Coordinate with project team and field labor to meet safety, schedule, and quality standards.
• Manage project budget and client relationship.
• Provide regular status reports to client and company.
• Lead team from project engineers to superintendents and administrative staff.
