Job summary

Chandler is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead projects from planning through production and installation in a manufacturing environment. You will develop project management talent and improve cross-department workflows, using technology and automation to optimize delivery.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, client relationship building, and accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality. A background in retail environments or custom fabrication is valued.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of project management experience in manufacturing or custom fabrication environments.
• 3-5 years of team leadership experience with coaching and improving team performance.
• Strong understanding of how design, engineering, materials, production schedules, and installation affect delivery.
• Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, resources, and changing priorities.
• Strong client communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in project management or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people, coach and mentor project managers, set clear expectations, and hold teams accountable for results.
• Manage complex manufacturing projects, owning scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables while balancing client expectations with production capabilities.
• Drive cross-functional execution by coordinating with sales, design, engineering, sourcing, production, and installation.
• Build strong client relationships through project communications, managing expectations, and addressing changes, risks, and issues.
• Protect quality and profitability by monitoring costs, capacity, milestones, and quality, taking action when off-track.
• Lead improvements across departments to strengthen handoffs, communication, and workflows, including the use of technology and automation.
• Ensure effective project closeout with complete financial and project documentation, and capturing lessons learned.
