Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive High-Voltage transmission and substation projects from design through construction and closeout. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with field operations, and ensure delivery against schedule and budget.

The role requires 6+ years in utility/high-voltage engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and preferably a PE license. You will guide external firms, uphold standards, and contribute to proposals and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering or engineering management experience in utility or high-voltage infrastructure.
• Engineering degree required; PE license preferred.
• Strong background in civil, structural, or electrical engineering and utility standards.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Knowledge of scheduling, contracts, estimating, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts across all project phases and support field operations as needed.
• Oversee external engineering firms, set performance expectations, and review deliverables.
• Maintain engineering standards, documentation practices, and quality controls.
• Forecast resource needs, manage staffing plans, and mentor engineering team members.
• Support proposal development, customer meetings, and overall project planning.
