GWH Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH Hessen is seeking a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) for Building Modernization in Frankfurt. You will lead a team of project and construction managers, coordinating modernization and maintenance across our housing portfolio while negotiating contracts and ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets.

We value extensive experience in construction management, sharp negotiation skills, and an entrepreneurial approach to deliver successful renovations in a housing context.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture or civil engineering; or apprenticeship in construction tech with relevant real estate experience.
• Multi-year, relevant experience in project management or construction management of complex renovations.
• Strong MS Office knowledge; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of a team consisting of project managers and construction managers
• Assumption of the client’s construction management responsibilities during the implementation of extensive modernization and
  maintenance measures on our housing portfolio
• Conducting contract negotiations and preparing for contract awards with our contractors
• Responsibility for the execution of our construction projects with regard to quality, construction schedule, and costs
• Ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects
• Ensuring that our construction projects are handed over to the site teams in accordance with quality standards
• A successfully completed degree in architecture or civil engineering; alternatively, an apprenticeship as a construction technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification, preferably supplemented by additional training in the real estate sector
• Substantial, multi-year professional experience in a comparable position or in the field of project management, or in the construction management of complex renovation projects involving existing buildings
• Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, is required; knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• A passion for problem-solving, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills
