Job summary

Amteck in Lexington, KY, seeks a Senior Project Manager for our Technologies division. You will lead low-voltage electrical and critical systems projects, including structured cabling, security, AV, and wireless connectivity, ensuring delivery excellence nationwide.

You will own safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance, guiding cross-functional teams, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires travel and regular site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years PM experience in construction/telecom with low voltage systems.
• Led multi-million-dollar projects and teams.
• Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam, MS Project.
• PMP, RTPM, BICSI Technician or RCDD preferred.
• OSHA 30 and safety leadership training advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project execution, from planning to closeout.
• Lead kickoff meetings, define schedules, and site walk-throughs.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and suppliers for progress and shop drawings.
• Manage workforce planning, performance, and development.
• Maintain proactive client communication to ensure satisfaction.
• Track costs, profitability, and change orders; approve invoices.
• Ensure safety protocols and provide training and PPE.
• Deliver closeout documentation including as-built drawings.
• Foster relationships with clients and vendors for business growth.
