Job summary

Amteck, a Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Technologies division in Lexington, KY. You will lead low voltage projects including structured cabling, security, AV, and wireless connectivity, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance.

You will oversee planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple client sectors, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver excellence nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of project management experience in construction or telecommunications.
• Experience leading multi-million-dollar projects and teams.
• Certifications such as PMP, RTPM, BICSI Technician, or RCDD are preferred.
• OSHA 30 and safety leadership training are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project execution from planning to closeout, ensuring budget, timeline, and quality.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, define schedules, and conduct site walk-throughs with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and suppliers to manage progress and shop drawings.
• Manage workforce planning, performance, and development of installation teams.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for alignment.
• Track and report project costs, profitability, and change orders; approve invoices and timesheets.
• Ensure safety protocols and provide training and PPE; conduct on-site inspections and deliver closeout documentation.
• Foster relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors for business growth.
