Job summary

Amteck, a national Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive excellence in the Technologies division. You will lead projects from structured cabling to integrated security, AV, and wireless systems, delivering safety, quality, and financial performance from Lexington, KY.

Accountable for on-time delivery, client satisfaction, and cross-functional coordination across industries including data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of project management experience in construction or telecom environments.
• PMP, RTPM, BICSI Technician, or RCDD certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project execution from planning to closeout, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality.
• Lead kickoff meetings, define schedules, and conduct site walk-throughs with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and suppliers for progress, deliveries, and drawings.
• Manage workforce planning and development of installation teams.
• Maintain proactive client, subcontractor, and internal communication for alignment.
• Track and report project costs, profitability, and change orders; approve invoices/timesheets.
• Ensure safety compliance and provide training and PPE as needed.
• Conduct on-site inspections and deliver closeout documentation including as-builts.
• Foster client and vendor relationships to support growth.
