Job summary

HNI Corporation, a global provider of workplace furnishings, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide projects from conception through execution. You will drive continuous improvement, build cross-functional partnerships, and advance operational excellence across the organization.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of business experience, strong Lean/facilitation background, and proficiency in project management. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Indiana location.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant business experience.
• 5+ years of Lean and facilitation experience, with a strong background in project management.
• Project Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex projects and Kaizen events, applying Lean and continuous improvement practices.
• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers while partnering cross-functionally to establish scope, goals, milestones, timelines, and accountability.
• Drive project execution to deliver initiatives on time, maximize cost savings, and achieve targeted outcomes.
• Own project reporting and provide key inputs to dashboards that communicate program health and progress.
• Serve as a strategic change agent, fostering collaboration and addressing risks and barriers.
• Lead the PMO Weekly Idea Submission Process to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage team performance, coaching, evaluations, and hiring decisions.
