Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a senior project leader to drive strategic program setup and execution in a cross-functional environment. You will own charters, roadmaps, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and phase exit criteria while guiding delivery teams to meet objectives with limited direction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8+ years in project management, with a proven ability to create order from ambiguity, manage scope and budget, and escalate risks promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects, create structure in ambiguity, and drive work forward with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead project setup, planning, and execution, including charters, roadmaps, integrated schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and phase exit criteria.
• Manage day-to-day delivery by driving task ownership, timeline management, decision tracking, issue resolution, progress reporting, and timely escalation of risks or blockers.
• Bring structure to ambiguous work by assessing what is needed, sequencing activities, managing scope, budget, and quality impacts, and keeping work moving with limited direction.
