Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Civil Engineering leader in Florida to guide a team of engineers and technicians through land development projects from conception to permitting. You will manage client proposals, budgets, schedules, and provide mentorship to the team, while fostering strong relationships with public agencies and community leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Florida.
• 10+ years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion in land development.
• Experience in panhandle market highly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices to mentor others.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities with existing clients and develop new partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (or related engineering discipline where applicable) from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Florida
• 10+ years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in land development.
• Experience in panhandle market highly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices which, by passing on that knowledge to others, will aid in your success
• Proven experience and willingness to identify new opportunities with existing clients as well as having the confidence and ability to develop new client partnerships
