Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Project Manager II to lead multi-site projects in the industrial and distribution sector. You will drive planning, selection of contractors, and cost control to ensure successful installations while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires travel to customer sites in the US (approximately 25-35%). You will partner with sales to expand accounts and manage project scope, add-ons, and revenue opportunities with a focus on profitability and

Qualifications

5 to 10 years' experience in project management and/or the industrial/manufacturing or distribution fields.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully lead teams and projects to achieve goals and objectives.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and CAD preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage short and long term operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects of varying size and scope.
Meet or exceed defined Gross Profit goals on each project through supplier management and contractor oversight.
Oversee installation contractors to ensure on time and profitable execution of installations.
Manage project scope and mitigate risks; identify and address issues quickly.
