Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee multiple industrial projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution and strong customer relationships. You will lead installation contractors and coordinate with sales to grow client accounts.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in project management, excellent communication, and proficiency in Word/Excel/Project; CAD is a plus. Expect travel to customer sites in the US and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years' experience in project management and/or industrial/manufacturing/distribution.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to lead teams and projects to goals.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project; CAD preferred.
• Strong planning, organizing and execution skills.
• Ability to travel to US customer sites (~25–35%).
• Independent work capability; coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Manage short and long term operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects.
• Meet or exceed Gross Profit goals through supplier and contractor management.
• Oversee installation contractors to ensure on-time profitable execution.
• Identify and address issues with quick problem solving.
• Communicate with customers via daily or weekly updates and timelines.
• Collaborate with Sales to penetrate client accounts and add-ons.
