Job summary

Alta Equipment Group, PeakLogix, seeks a Project Manager II to lead multiple projects from initiation to completion, overseeing scope, cost, and risk to deliver installations on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in project management and/or industrial/manufacturing or distribution fields.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead teams and projects to achieve goals.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and CAD preferred.
• Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills.
• Willing to travel to US customer sites (approx. 25–35%).

Responsibilities

• Manage short and long term operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects of varying size and scope.
• Meet or exceed defined Gross Profit goals on each project via supplier and contractor management.
• Participate in contractor selection process.
• Oversee installation contractors to ensure on time and profitable execution of installations.
• Manage project scope and mitigate inherent risks.
• Identify and address issues through quick problem solving.
• Hold kickoff meetings to define project scope.
• Communicate project status with customer regularly.
• Ensure professional conduct on job sites by all staff.
• Work with Sales to penetrate client accounts.
• Carry out project add-ons with appropriate billing and timeline management.
• Assist sales staff with design/configuration of static equipment and systems
