Job summary

Sletten Construction seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations on multiple industrial construction projects, with oversight of on-site activities in Las Vegas. You will provide strong leadership, drive schedule adherence, and maintain safety as the top priority.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of PM experience, including leadership, and proficiency with ProCore and Viewpoint; travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Sciences, Engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, building science, etc.) or related discipline.
• 10+ years of work experience in project management, contracting, engineering, or construction management; industrial or wastewater experience is preferred
• Past leadership experience required.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Developed office management and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured
• Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and assist in staffing key field positions
• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of an on-site superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget. Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
• Assist with project pursuit and procurement including preparation of RFQ responses and interviews.
• Prepare subcontracts.
• Maintain and update project schedules.
• Participate in employee continuing education in-house or through outside programs.
• Counsel and, when needed, terminate unsatisfactory or unneeded employees.
• Forecast what is to be done on a regular basis, when, and by whom.
• Learn and utilize ProCore, Viewpoint and other relevant industry software.
• Ensure vehicle fleet and equipment are maintained and Sletten's Vehicle policies are upheld.
• Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company.
• Support our goal of achieving zero accidents.
• Investigate and document all accidents

Sletten Construction is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support current and future industrial construction projects. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of multiple projects within the Laramie area. He/She will provide leadership to take charge of challenging projects, encourage teamwork, and supply the energy and enthusiasm required to achieve company goals and objectives. All business will be conducted in accordance with Sletten Construction Company's mission and vision statements.
