Eichleay, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial capital projects across North America.

You will manage proposals, design reviews, procurement, construction support and closeout, while partnering with client teams to deliver safe, on-time results. The role offers remote work within the United States, with preference for candidates near Eichleay offices in Ferndale, WA; Billings, MT; Larkspur or Orange, CA; Denver, CO; or Salt Lake City, UT.

Qualifications

  • Accredited four-year Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical field.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years related experience with at least four (4) years project management in heavy industrial projects.
  • Strong command of project controls including scheduling, planning, estimating, cost management, forecasting and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance with zero harm and zero incidents.
  • Lead and manage small to mid-size capital engineering & procurement projects (up to $60M TIC) from proposal through closeout, including fabrication and construction management.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams; foster positive client engagement and clear decision-making.
  • Prepare engineering project proposals for new projects or the next phase of a project.
  • Lead meetings with clients, contractors, and internal staff.
  • Review and approve client invoices prior to submittal.
  • Prepare written communications and reports.
  • Manage and control the project’s cost and schedule by ensuring that effective project controls are inplace including the change management system.
  • Forecast resource needs on projects, using Eichleay internal systems.
  • Identify and implement value engineering opportunities and continuous improvements.
  • Capture and apply lessons learned throughout project lifecycle.
  • Frequent travel to nearby refinery sites as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Accredited four-yearBachelor's degree in engineeringor another technical field from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of eight (8)yearsrelated experience with a minimum of four (4)yearsproject management experience in heavy industrial, complex engineering projects.
  • Skills:
  • Advanced understanding of capital project delivery and execution across all project phases, including FEL, detailed design, and construction support.
  • Strong command of project controls, including scheduling, planning, estimating, cost management, forecasting, and change management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex workstreams in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Highly detail-oriented withdemonstratedaccountability and consistent follow-through oncommitments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively in client-facing, onsite environments.
  • In-depth understanding and application of phase-gate project delivery processes, including project funding and approval frameworks.
  • Travel: Travel outside the area is expected to be minimal, less than 15%
  • Industry Requirements: This role will require all or some of the following requirements at time of hire or during employment
  • HHFT Safety Training and current card or ability to obtain.
  • Client Safety Training and current badge or ability to obtain.
  • TWIC Certification and current card or ability to obtain. TWICcardmust be obtained prior to start date or start date may need to be adjusted.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • While performing duties of this job, you would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear (this includes being able to hear and talk on site based communication equipment), distinguish between various colors, be able to hear safety tones/notifications, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, temperature or controls.
