Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Project Manager to lead large industrial automation projects on-site in Proctor, AR, driving delivery from planning through commissioning. You will partner with engineering, procurement, field services, and customers to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role emphasizes strong communication, cross-team collaboration, and rigorous change control while supporting a centralized PMO with standard tools and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction-site activities or technical project execution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office and scheduling tools (MS Project/Smartsheet).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams and leadership.
• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and safety impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through phases from execution start through closeout.
• Ensure gate readiness with required deliverables and approvals.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets per PMO standards.
• Serve as primary customer interface for assigned projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field services.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and change control.
• Provide timely project reporting using PMO tools.
• Support installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
• Promote safety, quality, and accountability on all sites.
