Job summary

ARCO National Holdings in Cincinnati is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead hyperscale construction projects from inception to completion. You will oversee estimating, scheduling, design coordination, cost reporting, and safety while coordinating with owners and the design team.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of PM experience, hyperscale exposure, proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience.
• hyperscale experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents/specifications.
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel or be site-based as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee managerial and administrative aspects of hyperscale projects, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and safety.
• Ensure accurate and complete project estimates and design coordination with owners and design teams.
• Lead buyout, subcontractor selection, and progress meetings on site.
• Provide value engineering and cost-reduction ideas.
• Maintain integrity and meet/exceed client expectations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a hyperscale project. Including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of project management experience
• Highly prefer hyperscale experience
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
• Willingness to travel or be site-based as required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
