Senior Project Manager (14050) - Hybrid (Miami)

Join a long-term project with one of the largest beverage distributors in the USA. Hybrid model (Dallas and Miami offices). Contractor.

Overview

The Project Manager drives the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects that are approved and funded. The role involves guiding complex projects from inception through delivery and support, working closely with IT and business leaders, including project, program, and executive sponsors, as well as other leaders within the business and IT.

This individual is responsible for defining objectives, creating plans to achieve them, tracking progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching team members, and improving project management processes.

The Project Manager provides overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project efforts. They establish and enhance project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet quality standards, and satisfy customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy (20%): Provide strategic input to IT leadership and other stakeholders, streamline and standardize business processes, and incorporate best practices into the IT organization.
• Execution (60%): Manage projects on schedule and budget, ensure quality delivery, develop presentations for leadership, and enforce project management lifecycle standards.
• Building Capabilities (20%): Mentor and develop IT teams, upgrade personal skills and knowledge, and stay updated on industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of project management experience, preferably in tech or consulting.
• Proven success managing large-scale, multi-functional projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• PMP or relevant certification preferred.
