Job summary

ePlus seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the PMO, guiding internal and external projects, aligning customer expectations, and managing project budgets. The role requires mentoring staff, overseeing complex programs from design to production, and driving risk mitigation and value delivery across regional engagements.

The position is hybrid with on-site work in Durham, NC, and occasional customer-site visits within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Technology or related field.
• PMP Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of project management or IT management experience.
• Minimum 5 years coordinating and supporting IT business processes.
• ITIL or other best practices certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Understand revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections; make decisions accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop Project Managers and take on complex projects at strategic accounts.
• Oversee, train, assist and develop the Project staff.
• Run complex projects from design and development to production.
• Define requirements and plan lifecycle deployment.
• Manage project budget and track hours, expenses and invoicing.
• Identify opportunities for add-on sales and client relationship growth.
• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
