Job summary

Spicer Group in Georgia is seeking a Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) to lead design and engineering for transportation infrastructure projects, including major highways and roadways. This role oversees budgeting, scheduling, team coordination, and quality control.

The ideal candidate has a strong civil engineering background, PE preferred, and will mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians while maintaining client relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; candidates without PE may be considered.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/ORD, and Microsoft Office Programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of civil transportation infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
• Lead project teams through planning and design.
• Prepare proposals with project management responsibilities including scope, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and team coordination.
• Develop project design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with executives, clients, contractors, and external consultants.
• Maintain and expand client relationships and identify new project opportunities.
• Provide mentorship to project team members and ensure quality standards.
