Job summary

Kokosing Construction seeks a Project Manager for heavy highway—roadway/bridge projects in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. You will plan, direct, and coordinate project activities, supervising Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 10+ years of related experience; CPM scheduling expertise; strong coordination with government agencies and subcontractors; competitive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience managing heavy highway/bridge construction projects

Responsibilities

Reviews project proposal or plan to determine timeframe, funding limitations, project procedures, staffing requirements, and available resources.
Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project; arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
Coordinates project activities with government agencies and subcontractors.
Understand and analyze CPM-based project schedules.
