Job summary

Graycor Industrial Constructors’ Heavy Industrial division seeks a Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, emphasizing safety, quality, and profitability. You will coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and local union officials to ensure successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has at least seven years of heavy industrial construction experience in steel and metal producing industries, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Seven years of relevant heavy industrial construction experience in steel/metals.
• Bachelor degree preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive project results from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality programs on the project site.
• Communicate with owners, engineers, subcontractors and union officials.
• Mentor and train project engineers to support growth.
• Maintain budget and schedule to ensure profitability.
• Execute subcontracts, purchase orders and change requests.
