Graycor Industrial Constructors’ Heavy Industrial division is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, emphasizing safety and quality at every stage.

The ideal candidate will bring seven years of heavy industrial construction experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication to coordinate project engineers, field staff, and subcontractors on site within a union environment while safeguarding schedule and profitability.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of heavy industrial construction operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a self-perform project environment and union setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and quality programs on the project site.
• Actively participate in bidding and pre-construction services.
• Represent Graycor as the client’s contact with owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Manage and mentor project engineers, field superintendents, and administrative staff.
• Maintain budget and schedule to protect profitability.
• Execute subcontracts and purchase orders, approve invoices and change requests.
• Lead lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
