Goodfellow Bros. (GBI) in Reno, NV is hiring a Project Manager to administer technical and financial aspects of multi-million-dollar heavy civil projects.

You will coordinate with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and agencies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while mentoring project engineers and maintaining company standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil construction, strong knowledge of earthwork and contracts, and proficiency in HCSS Heavy Job, Word, Excel and Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum five years of heavy civil construction experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, underground utilities, contracts, plans, specifications and geotechnical reports.
• Proficient computer skills: HCSS Heavy Job, Word, Excel and Project.

Responsibilities

• Administer technical and financial aspects of assigned projects.
• Lead project teams including owners, subcontractors, vendors and agencies to meet schedule and budget.
• Oversee pre-construction, safety plans, quality control and project close-out.
