Job summary

OCHIN is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects, including EHR implementations and vendor integrations. You will own project plans, track milestones, and manage risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while nurturing strong relationships with members and executives.

The role requires PMP Certification, experience leading remote project teams, and the ability to influence without authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or combination of college education and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in complex project coordination or management, preferably in healthcare and/or IT, including 2,000+ hours.
• Proven success in internal and external communication and relationship management with all levels from administrative to executive.
• Technical aptitude to understand and collaborate on project-related systems.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar system preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• For this fully remote position, ideal candidate will have experience leading fully remote project teams.
• Strong potential for self-direction/self-management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Scoping and requirements gathering for assigned projects.
• Build, manage, and organize project plans for assigned projects.
• Develop, maintain, and revise all project materials.
• Track progress and escalate risks to milestones and timelines.
• Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders on strategy, timeframes, and outcomes.
• Identify stakeholders and build communication strategies to meet timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate among vendors, members, and partners to align scope and expectations.
• Employ change management strategies and tactics.
• Ensure projects align with organizational goals and deliver value to stakeholders.
• Lead meetings and ensure follow-ups and deliverables are completed.
