Irving Knight Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead data centre construction projects in the Atlanta area. The role covers preconstruction through commissioning, handover and closeout, with responsibility for programme, budget, quality, safety and commercial performance.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in data centre or mission-critical construction, strong leadership and client-management skills, and willingness to be on-site in Atlanta.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data centre construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning, handover and closeout.
• Manage overall programme, budget, quality, safety, risk and commercial performance.
• Lead Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial Managers and wider project teams.
• Maintain senior relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading large-scale construction projects as a Project Director, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or equivalent.
• Proven experience in data centre, mission-critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex construction.
• Strong knowledge of MEP-intensive construction, commissioning and handover processes.
• Demonstrable responsibility for project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, risk and commercial performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills, with willingness to work on-site in the Atlanta area.

Added Requirements

• 5–10+ years in data centre, mission-critical, industrial or similarly complex construction
• 2–5+ years in a senior leadership position, such as Project Director, Project Executive or Senior Project Manager
